A scenic outdoor scene at sunset featuring a mountain range, pine trees, and a lavender field, with a flying airplane and a table with baked goods, a bowl of flour, a notebook with a cupcake design, and decorative lavender sprigs, along with a quote about baking, travel, and life's joys.
A white plate filled with a pile of round, light-colored cookies with cracks on the surface, placed on a black stovetop.
Open field with green grass and flowering plants, bordered by dense trees under a partly cloudy sky.

Flour and Footsteps is my little corner of the internet where I can share the things that bring a little extra joy to everyday life—pulling a fresh batch of cookies from the oven or exploring somewhere new.

Here, you’ll find plenty of baking, from recipes I’ve created and family favorites to the stories and history behind some of the foods we know and love. You’ll also find travel journals from my travels both close to home and farther away.

I’ll also be sharing some of my favorite baking tools, cookbooks, kitchen essentials, and other resources I’ve found helpful along the way. More than anything, I hope Flour and Footsteps feels less like visiting a website and more like catching up with a friend—sharing a recipe, swapping travel stories, and finding a little inspiration for your own adventures.

There’s always something new in the works, so be sure to check back often for new recipes, travel stories, and other posts. I’m glad you’re here, and I hope you’ll come back and wander along with me.

Be sure to follow Flour and Footsteps on Facebook and Instagram for even more content! You can also find my recipes on Pinterest.
