My name is Jess, and I live in Kent, Ohio, with my husband, Patrick; my two cats, Linnea and Elena; and my dog, Cornell.

Baking and traveling, whether close to home or somewhere far away, have both become such meaningful parts of my life. This website gives me a place to share those passions, along with the experiences, memories, and little moments of joy I discover along the way.

My hope is that Flour and Footsteps feels less like a website and more like visiting a friend. I hope you'll leave inspired to bake something, discover somewhere new, get out in nature and appreciate the simple joys that make life meaningful.
